I agree with you. However, if the VM's are willing to pay a premium that will compensate an abstractor for other work he has to turn away or put on hold to accomodate the VM, then there should be no problem. It is really a matter of a price that the abstractor can live with rather than one that is imposed upon him by a VM. Hopefully the abstractors will place some value on their work, and not sell themselves short.
