Although it will never be to the extent of the rest of you all because I would not go past 30 days and accept more work unless this client was a very long-term client to begin with, not communicating with us is a big concern - ignoring phone calls, etc. This is what got my goat the most about "communication" in the vendor management survey - the totalling ignoring of emails and/or phone calls made in attempts to clarify or clear up misunderstandings that may have occurred - be it past due invoices or any other matter. I could not imagine not returning calls even if it was the postman that had a complaint about my business or just plain needed some information. Everyone is an important part to another's business. I cannot understand how any of you keep doing the volume of work that you do and not get paid - how in the heck are you surviving?
