The majority of the population in New Orleans is below the poverty level... you need money to evacuate... they had no way of leaving. I think 50 years is enough time to figure out how to prevent the floods in New Orleans. Yes, hurricanes have been around a long time... but take a look at the statistics of the frequency and power they have gained. As for your little wink wink... that is insulting to me and all those people who died and who are stranded.
