I agree you analysis that it is not fair that an abstractor is not compensated with some relation to the liability. Any thoughts on a situaion like mine or Accusearch where the agent contracted with our company and we subcontracted the work out to another examiner? I agree that it is not fair that agents expect us to hold the entire liability for some of these mistakes. Some do and some don't.
