It is not a matter of being within or without a comfort zone. I am simply saying that an individual with title to real estate is in a much more fortunate position that those who are not. I know of a family here in Connecticut whose home burned to the ground several years ago. Their hazard insurance not only provided for rebuilding their home, but aloso provided temporary housing in the form of a hotel until their home was rebuilt. She may have a similar provision in her policy which could go a long way to alleviating her problem.
