Funny you made this post - I got an email from someone offering a program I think it was called Trillion that integrates AOL, MSN, YAHOO, etc instant messaging into one. I would was ready to ask my clients if I could instant message them sometimes because of getting recorded voicemails and not answering emails fast enough for approval of additional copy charges, etc. My clients often access me though through emails I receive via my cell phone and it is checked everytime for more orders before leaving a county and they always have access through conversation via my cell phone. I'm wondering if maybe we should ask our clients, like they ask us, to have cell phones to carry with them when they are out of the office, or travelling to their clients, on in in-office meetings, for emergency only information and approval. Just a thought-it is more and more seemingly like it is a one-way street in our industry! It is really hard to just hang around a courthouse waiting for a response when so many more orders have to be completed elsewhere.
