I can't speak for anyone else, but I for one appreciate your wordiness and candor. I thought it was very well put. This situation reflects your local situation and one that is playing out all over the U.S. Also playing out all over the country is the damage caused by the seizure of local records for commercial purposes by those outside the local jurisdiction. The records are public and should remain so, but someone from a foreign country ten thousand miles away should hardly be considered a member of the local public.

There are new laws and court cases that should force a return to security and normalcy for the community records and force the counties to keep the records within their own jurisdictions.
