Dear Bannon - if this helps at all, I have posted responses to past due invoices etc anonymously in helping abstractors utilize techniques in collecting past due invoices.  Pertaining to this, I mentioned that there was a company that I enjoyed working for but had to halt working for because of past due invoices - just because my situation didn't allow me the present cash flow to keep going at that rate and that if the company caught up I would consider working for them again.  I posted that I mentioned that I felt it was due to some kind of accounting problems as they would pay some current invoices but miss many past dues.  It was your company and given your post, it was obviously the problem.  I will to your benefit, tell everyone that I have been back paid in full in the last couple of months for years 2001 and 2002 and one in 2003.  Brian E contacted me after again sending past dues this year and was a wonderful person both in his personality and persistence in solving problems.  I will have to agree with everyone that it was not like that in the past.  I am glad you have solve your problems and I think it was great of you to tell all of us of your changes - good for you and your company!  However, please understand how this might have really hurt some abstracting businesses especially because it was more of a cumulative effect of several companies, not just yours, that tremendously dampered the cash flow of some businesses.  Please remember that we not only were due service fees  but actually cost of documents that often were double our service fee that we ended up holding for years.  Actually, if your company wanted a real positive feedback, perhaps they could have included an extra $100.00 bucks or so to the totals to show a token of appreciation of not going into lawsuits, etc. which could have taken place by abstractors and cost your company quite a bit of money.  A couple thousand owed to each vendor retained a extra good healthy cash flow for your company, and probably extra interest earned at banking institutions.  You should always do extra if you are at fault - it is just good business!  I really enjoyed working with Jodi Graves before your company moved to Florida and she enjoyed me.  She contacted me when she went to a new company asking if I would service their needs too.
