Not an "attorney state"; however, I see mostly purchases handled by title insurance companies and/or attorneys. Estate planning and estate administration transfers seem to be mostly handled by attorneys - but then it's not just "do a deed." I believe there is a title insurance company on the west coast that is moving or has moved into the world of e-closings from beginning to end.
I do LOVE some of Florida's county land records systems, excellent source of information when just determining who/what owns what and the related taxes on real estate.
