Just to clarify a couple of points:

I have just revisited both John's post and my own post and find no representation as to on-line records being better than courthouse records in our area, much less assurances.  Our search staff still search directly from the courthouse, a few short blocks away from us.  The areas that I had in mind when comparing county records to title plant records (not on-line county records) are outside of our service area.  In fairness to those trying to make a living in those counties, I will not name them.

As to your pricing, I regret having brought yours into the mix, and I apologize for that.  This thread began as a complaint against cut-throat pricing and it appeared to me that your post suggested that our company may be engaging in such a practice.  I wanted there to be no doubt that it is not the case.

I thank you for your response to my diatribe and urge you to take a second look at it.  I think you will find that we are more in agreement than first impressed upon you.
