Other than a hearty laugh, I don't think I would even respond. Whoever it was that is asking you for those prices, should really be spending more time educating their clients. Once they have priced all of the professional examiners out of business - who will be left to clean up the messes?
I heard at the American Legal and Financial Network conference last week, in Sedona, Arizona, that the rising property values are holding foreclosures down by a staggering amount. Alan Greenspan has said that he is predicting housing prices to decline. That means that foreclosures are likely to explode. The claims will start falling from the sky when that happens and the industry will realize that a $25 search will buy you a $25,000 claim.
An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
