Thanks for everyone's replies.  I was hesitant to list myself because I did not want to draw attention to the fact that I am new to this industry.  I do have some companies that I'm currently working for and I did not want to appear to be too green and hurt myself in obtaining new work. Most companies that I have talked with require someone with a decent amount of experience under their belt and I thought it not in my best interest to announce to everyone my name and info. I am in the process of buying a listing and getting myself set up on here, so my apologies, I was not trying to being suspicious just careful so I can set myself up for success. I have also been told (by another abstractor I met) that this business is highly competitive and to be careful what I ask and who I ask. Anyone who has advice and does not doubt my motives, I would really appreciate it.  This web site seems to be full of experienced abstractors and I think it would be a great source for me to obtain information. I have included my email address and last name so hopefully someone will feel more comfortable in replying to me.
