Teresa - you have to decide what you need to do for your business.  By stating that you would get back with them - you let them know that THEY can control your business and manipulate you.  You have to take a stand.  I believe that whether or not other businesses haven't to this point raised prices it will happen in the coming weeks.  You have to know where you were on the range of pricing though to determine what you raise or raise at all.  If you were on the high range, a minimal charge is in order.  If on the low range, a price increase was due anyway and a little more for the gas should be in order.  It costs me 2x the amount to fill my tank as it did 1 year ago and it will affect my pricing.  We travel in our business and travel has costs that have to be part of our pricing in the product we produce.  Bar none.
