I had many different thoughts that went through my head when all of this happened including common sense to leave when you are 10 feet under. However, many of those stranded did leave to the point they could to the Astrodome (or whatever it was - I'm starting to get confused as to where everyone is being housed) and the evacuation place they went to basically was not prepared for them. If you send people somewhere make sure there is medicine, food, water and other provisions before they get there. And last but not least, with all the thoughts that went back and forth in my head, I decided one thought was just the best to stick with 'Judge not and Ye shall not be Judged" and more importantly, it really doesn't matter what or how people ended up this way, it happened, and help is very much needed. There is no more help needed by the people that stayed at that place then there is for the people who had the cars and left. ALL OF THESE PEOPLE need help - they have no homes to go back to, no jobs to go back to, no schools to go back to, no churches, no nothing - and focusing on anything other than those things are just a waste of time - at least in my head - I'm a person that deals with the hand dealt - not what or could have been - I seem to win more that way - how about the rest of you?
