This is will be the last post I will make on this... what none of you seem to be hearing is that the people who "chose" to stay had no "choice". David they had no way out. They knew how bad this storm would be... they new the levys would not hold. Why was there no help to get people out of there? Look at the statistics for New Orleans... the majority of the population is below poverty level and had no means of escape. What happened in New Orleans (I am not referring to just storms) is what could happen anywhere in the United States... why were we so unprepared? Gobal warming does exist and it is causing more and bigger storms. I am not blaming this administration... I am blaming everyone who has known the issues of New Orleans for years and have chosen to ignore the problems. We have many big cities with serious problems and is they need to be evacuated how is that going to happen?

You talk about rights to speak out... well it is my right and it is your right to ask why? Yes this was an act of nature but man needed to step up and he did not.
