Brett, you are dealing with professional abstractors on this site.  You say you have worked under another for 1 year.  While I appreciate your ambition, you must try to understand that going out on your own after such a short time,  being green, as you put it, does put doubt on your ability to run an excellent title search.  Though I have been running titles for 13 yrs., have worked for 2 major companies in Atlanta (one of which was titles for  commercial property, exclusively) before becoming independent, I can no way say I am an expert.  There is always something new to learn, always a problem you have never seen before.  So you should be glad you have this website in order to learn and grow.  I just hope you are not one of these people who decide to become an abstractor and charge cheap prices and the companies for whom you  work for don't have a clue or don't care.  I believe most on SOT are here because we care and are proud of the work we do.  So please take the criticism and learn from the comments.  I am in Georgia so if you have any questions, please contact me.
