I agree completely Robert!!  There is no excuse not to pay when you supply them with what they ask for, quote them the fees, and they never contact you.  I have even gone so far as to call them with the fees before I send the work back (with the fee noted), put the name of the person I spoke with etc & still they will send a check for the fee they have in "their computer".  I could take several of us out to an expensive place for dinner on what some clients have shorted me.  But we don't let it go.  Paying a partial payment is as bad (if not worse because it is extra work for us) as not paying.   I have stopped doing work for clients who ask for extra but don't want to pay for it also.  But I still hound them until I am paid.
