This brings up a problem that seems to be happening more and more. --- Companies that operate under one name, then disappearing & popping up under another name, leaving abstractors frustrated with trying to contact someone to help them out with billing and/or other problems.  Other abstractors or even the same abstractor may be contacted to do work for the "new" company, without knowing who they are.  It might be helpful, if we know of a company changing their name (for whatever reason) we could post this information on this site.  Abstractors are free to make their own decisions as to who they do work for, but they should at least have all the information possible regarding that company before they make the decision.
