I charge $75 for a current owner, $90 for a two owner, and $125 for a 30 year search in arkansas. I will not lower my price. I have lost many companys to lower pricing, but there are still many companys that pay me what I ask, and pay other abstractors the lower price ($50-60) for the same counties.
The local in state title companies are the way to go for better pricing and faster payment. All in state, local title companies, get orders in counties that they do not search, so don't be afraid to ask any title conpany for outsource work. Many will be glad you showed up!
