I believe once you purchase the home version and register it, you are then in their system for updates and new offerings, that is how I get the reduced fee for the pro version.I have not used the home version in years , but a good friend of mine has it (an older version also- at least 2 prior versions back) he does not have the PDF format in his, all of mine have had it- and I have a few customers that prefer this format- there are about 20 formats you can work with in the pro version. And just for the your info, the proprietary PP format is called "max" format and allows editing and easier handling that a PDF file- also faster to load in the program- I use the max for all my original documents and save them that way - i then convert to the format that the client requires and save it in a different folder , just in case they are one of the ones that "lose: files/cases, it is there justwaiting for a re-send.
