Oh, there is no doubt that other business charge fax fees.  Some lenders charge as much as $60 to fax a pay-off statement for a closing.  That is ridiculous!  However, I think it would be a tough sell to charge a fax fee to re-send a search. 

I have dropped clients that have continuously called to have orders re-faxed.  Occasionally, I can understand it, but when these companies call everyday to ask you to resend the orders that you have already sent several times there is a problem.  Then, the problem that arises is that they don't want to pay you for the search that they somehow still didn't receive.  Better not to deal with those companies.
