Scott: It is apparent you are not open to the new land records of the future and I certainly am not about to try to show you the light anymore. It seems you are happy with what you have and that is fine- I for one, am all for inovation and advancement of our abilities to provide titles for our customers. So, as far as that goes, you win. Thank goodness we have more forward thinking clerks down here that have risen above all that mess you are dealing with in one of your counties-but, lke you say- you don't want change, so be it.
We don't have to endure the conditions you describe in your original note and have not for quite some yrs now, technology has overcome most of the problems we all seemed to put up with in the past.
I do have to ask what you plan on doing when your counties start making the change up there? Certainly it will occur sometime, then what? I am aware in one of the counties I work in has over 800 subscribers to the online system- so you see I am not alone- the record rooms that used to have hundreds of people in them, are now down to a few hold outs from the old days that just don't want to give in-
Thanks for all your input, but you have not convinced me to take the giant leap backward- I remain committed to the new systems.
(and that is all I have to say on this)
