I just pay whatever the maximum federal rate is.  I don't have to pay social security on it, so I think it just nice money to give to the employee.  I don't want them to have to figure out the difference between what I am paying and the maximum that they can claim.  Paying for accounting work is bad enough for me, I don't want to pass that cost on to the employees.
