Ok - after reading all this stuff I am getting a headache. I am not a slacker and I work hard. But because I actually have to drive to a county and look through (gasp) indexes I am becoming obsolete?? How the heck else am I supposed to do my job??? That is the way things are here and I still say you can't trust everything you find online. Some things are too complicated to just do a search online and if you don't know that you are a moron. I have some lovely searches I could show you that you would NOT want done online. These are things we spent HOURS on sorting thought documents, dusty indexes, old maps, and computers to figure out. Now this Red Vision wants to come along and say it can be done online, in two hours, for a low, low, basement bargain fee. If you believe that you are totally screwed in the head!!! I don't care how great your technology is!!!

Yeah, I'm young too and grew up with computers. I love technology for it's convienience, but it doesn't replace some things. Title searching is one of them. It irritates me that technology is pushed ahead of getting a quality product. Sure there are positives, but the big negatives are I have no job and people hand over their money for a low quality (s**t) product. So my solution is to keep up or find another job??? WTF??? I work too hard to make this company run and now I am supposed to shut the doors because the manner in which I work isn't fast enough for some yoho in another state who just started work this week??? Guess at the age of 27 I should consider going back to school - which is something I NEVER wanted to do. I just want to work and make money and be happy, but I am beginning to question everything I thought I knew about being in this industry. to post a reply: login - or - register
