Good Point!! I did not think of books being more accurate in some instances and I wholeheartedly agree with your point about the lack of complexity of the digitized records. Partial records are not a good source of info even though the Lenders looking at insuring their whole portfolio do not care about a few liabilities. We do since we do not have billion dollar portfolios to absorb losses. BUT, In what way can we promote a positive digitization of records to include the complete set of data. This is what I mean by gently, or forcefully, nudging the direction of digital records release to be beneficial, not detrimental to us. There are companies out there that are willing to absorb the risk of using incomplete records and only time will tell if their risk management theories are valid or not. Problem is I am not so sure we have years ahead of us considering the rate at which technology develops.
