And indirectly this would affect businesses because employees wouldn't want to apply for positions outside their range - although those being transferred in high up positions, the company's would probably eat the cost of that, which in turn, I guess, would affect the bottom line cost of the product.  My thoughts changed as I was typing that - lol!
