I was going to respond to your post Robert a little different going further into detail but I'm going to be short and brief - I don't think you fully understand the time involved in document retrievals and the service that is involved, before and after such retrieval. Unless your state doesn't charge for copies, you also left that out as a cost. I'm actually perplexed that you would take any service of an abstractor and decide that it is trivial and one should actually lose money in the process. I'm curious as to how long you think from start to finish this service would take and how much you have to make an hour to cover your employee salary, benefits, taxes, etc. and whether at your price you could do that. While we all think that $59.50 is an extreme on that end - I was just as astonished at your pricing the other way and actually the person it came from. But I guess we all have our days. Certainly, I do and this may be one of them - lol - I'm just wondering if you are studying too hard at law school?
