Here in PA, Westmoreland County's Prothonotary charges $18.00 for a certified Divorce Decree. They will not issue a Decree which is not certified, and you can't even buy a copy of the docket entries in a divorce action once a decree is entered.

If you ask me, that seems a little more nefarious than a private company offering to do some legwork for a fee. At least in the latter instance, one has the option of obtaining the information for oneself. Still, sixty bucks does seem a little steep.
