Too long.  I have heard a lot of complaints recently from abstractors who are having to beg or remind for their checks (us not being one of them).  We should never have to do this.  I had to call ____ Law Firm and remind them to pay me for a rush search in Rutherford.  I will not work for anyone I have to remind.  I can barely keep up with my wonderful payers and I am so thankful for them.  Don't relegate yourself to this level, people; you want better, demand better.  

Let me say again how thankful I am for my law firms who constantly go above and beyond in making sure I get paid every 2 weeks or immediately or when it closes.  I'm a lucky girl.
