I completely agree and I may change my position once I finish law school.  However, for me it isn't just the filing fees - I have to pay my attorney.  He has actually told me before that it will cost me more than I could hope to recover.  I'm glad I have him to remind me of that; otherwise, I would probably get mad enough to do it.

The other thing, of course, is that with our thin profit margins I can't afford to sue on principal.  If the profit were better I would probably take a loss here or there to make the point you mentioned.  It would be worth it if I could afford it.
