I seen US Bank is offering a $1000 scholarship. I remember the school counselor providing that info. There should be a list and then the student applies. Also local organizations normally offer scholarships. I was a member of the Optimist and we would take apps. and vote on who we thought would be the best candidate; they would go by what the student did for her community. There are others such as Rotary, Elks, Knights of Columbus, Jaycees, Lions, and the list can go on and on.
