Jason,

You are very correct!  Lot's of work (for the contactors), lot's of coordination for us!  I am not sure which job is easier.  I do know, however, which pays more!

The building, as stated before, was just too conducive to our needs to pass up.  We knew that renovations were necessary, however, when all is said and done, we will have a 4000 s.f. commercial building, completely remodeled, for about $70.00 per s.f.  That is about $130.00 (land included) per s.f. LESS than what it would take to build, from the ground up, for our complex!

You see, our complex WAS a church whos congregation grew much faster than the church leaders anticipated.  Thus, they went and purchased a 20,000 s.f. $2 million complex (which, I am sad to say, will take much more growth on their part to fill I assume), to house their growth.

This made the sale of their old church very important to them.  The long and the short of it is we were looking at the right time and they were selling at the right time.  Hurdles existed, of course, but, in the end, everyone wins!

So, thank you for your kind words and again, we will keep you all updated on our progress!  Pictures on www.statewidesettlement.com will be updated daily (we hope)!...JT
