Also, you do not have the right to free speech on this forum. I allow most things, but it is not a right - it is a privilege. It would be good to keep in mind that when you exercise your privilege to offend others, even if they may be over-sensitive at times, you might chase everyone away and you will be left with fewer participants on the forum. Ultimately, you may wind up replying to your own posts to keep the discussions going.

I enjoy seeing some friendly posts and the occasional off-topic thread. I think it is great that we have become a community with different personalities. However, sometimes, they are taken too far to prove a point and inject more controversy than is necessary.
I don't mind the occasional "Merry Christmas" or "Happy Hanukkah" and I am offended by neither, so long as they are intended with the proper sentiment. If they are intended to offend they may not be appropriate.
As my dad always told me there are two things you never talk about in public: politics and religion. Somehow, both are discussed here more often than is necessary. I don't care what anyone's political or religious affiliations are and I don't care to discuss mine. I just wish you all the best, no matter what you believe in, and I will leave it at that.
Best,
Robert A. Franco
