Steinbrenner looks like a genius if he succeeds in tying his shoe!  And that don't happen too often.  Seriously, you're right, it would be wonderful and make for much better baseball if all the teams were evenly matched and funded. But we both know that isn't going to happen. Still, spring training is only 3 months away - hope springs eternal.
