Isn't there title insurance involved here?  If any major underwriter is involved, I cannot see them standing by while mortgages are waiting to be recorded.  I have invoices going back to Aug 2005 (My fault, I should never have let them get so delinquent).  So you know, some of this I understand and some of it I don't.  Now I am supposed to do the search, front the copies, gas and time, take all the liabilty for errors - do all this in 8 hours or less and STILL NOT GET PAID?
