Thanks for the info, Kevin. In Tn, the client doesn't want to even pay $125 for a closing. They want to pay me $100 to drive 50+ miles one way and spend an hour or more at the clients home. Sometimes, it is in a bad section of town and a little scary. Do you do your closing at homes or meet them at a restaurant or somewhere public? That has been one of my concerns.
I have someone I could send to do closing but it turns out to just be a perk for my client as I don't make a dime. I can't ask someone to do it for less than $100 and that is all they will pay me. When I price myself at even $125, they say, "Let me get back with you." They apparently find someone to do it for less. It just doesn't seem worth it or am I missing the Big Picture?
