Same here in South St. Louis County, melted quickly.  We packed up Sunday afternoon and traveled to Branson, Missouri, The Family Entertainment Capital of the country.  Went to Silver Dollar City and stayed until it got dark for the Christmas Lights and the Light Parade through Main street.  Get for kids young and old, mid-60's today.
