That is what I dont understand about the whole concept of no time with people who drink and drive.  There are plenty of people that let's say go out and don't expect to get into a fight and severely hurt or injure someone but they end up doing it - and they get time for it.  What is the difference?  When you get behind the wheel after drinking you "with knowledge that drinking impairs judgment and you could hurt someone" make a concerted choice and should take responsibility for your decision to drive.
