Lisa I agree with you... I would never want to see a 19 go to jail for 20 years. I don't know if I would want to see him go to jail for that long if he had killed someone. But what is the answer? I wish I knew. That kid got behind the wheel 3 times drunk and he was just lucky he did not kill himself or someone else. The man who killed my brother and his two friends was 42 and had previous DUI's. Unfortunately for us the state he lived in did not have strong penalties 15 years ago. I don't know if they do now.
