Straight DWI's only - no criminal activity.  Not from his mouth - from his mother's after his conviction - she was in shock.  Nothing is consistent in sentencing - the justice system knows that to be a problem.  You know what stopped the 3 strikes your out - life imprisonment sentencing.  They had one lady in for life who shopped lifted 3x - less than 20.00 worth of items in for life and people who killed people getting out - they obviously came to the conclusion that doesnt make sense.  I don't know if that was just Texas law or federal law.  I just know Bush backed it - funny though at the same time this law changed - his daughter had been arrested 2x for either DUI/DWI - makes you wonder doesn't it?
