She did not show up 2 times for her court date so it got postponed twice. When I fnally saw her again, I wanted to punch her in the mouth. (this is how I feel, don't hold it against me). She lives about 30 miles away so I may see her to go through with it sometime in the future. She never apologized or even looked at my son in court. She just looked the other way with her arms folded and was shaking her head like she didn't believe what was going on, she was so into herself, makes me sick even today. The gentleman that was in the car did apologize to my son.  She got 1 year in jail and my son is doing fine. He had a year of physical therapy and then went back to try out for the swim team and could not do it because of his knees. He really wanted to be a lifeguard but he is going to have to focus in another direction. The skin on his face, back and arms healed to where it is almost invisible and he is only left with a few scars on his knees from surgery.
