And to think someone signs the bottom of the HUD indicating everything is true and accurate and subject to RESPA penalties!! I have indicated previously that I have a copy of a HUD that shows one title company raking almost $1000 for various items listed just for doing the title- I really enjoyed the line that lists "hand recording of documents-$100.00"- but they are getting away with these kinds of violations all the time- even promoted by some of the big title companies too- .
