Seems to me that you're the one resisting the good changes. The Tax Code itself is the burden. The more regulation you add, the greater the burden, and I believe we have enough of that. You said that you're all for "anything will save me, and other Americans, from paying more." The FairTax does just that, and it's closer to becoming a reality than you might realize.
Adding another regulatory hoop to jump through is not the answer. It's like treating a symptom, and letting the disease run rampant. Sorry, but that approach simply doesn't address the problem; it just makes more "busy work" for accountants and lawyers (again, no offense, F. Lee).
