Personally I always use the wildcard & input as little of the name as I can, that way I can find any variations on the name. As your example I would input Tur* for last name & R* or Ron* as first. Remember that the info is input by human hands too & spelling mistakes can happen.

I'd rather sift through more names than take the chance on missing judgments or pending suits.
