Very true.  I am all for free enterprise and I believe that competition is a wonderful thing... when the competition is on a level playing field.  However, there is no way to compete with the cheap labor of some of the foreign companies.  And, as Ellen mentioned, the quality is not the same as it was when the work was done here. 

If we didn't have to worry about producing a quality product, or little things like paying taxes in the United States or providing health care to our employees, maybe we could crank out enough work to do the job cheaper.  That just isn't how I would like to run my business... but if that is what it takes to compete...
