Not only efficiency Robert....I don't know about other areas of the country...but India is exactly where the documents from St Louis County and St Louis City are being sent.  They index them (erroneously many times) and scan them into the Database for the title plant operating out of St Louis. It would be considerably different if they were indexing and maintaining their own property records.  Are they going to be insuring them next?

Recently I was talking to my oldest son - who is a nobody in particular.  Just a citizen like most.  I had done a commercial job where the owner had a Terrorism Lien filed against he and his wife.  Now, they had a small loan out currently on this property; but were applying for a "forgiveable" government loan in excess of $250,000.00.  I was furious. I did my work, said nothing and moved on.  The loan was given and the paperwork filed.

Then, there is another issue.  In the old days, agricultural property was not allowed to be purchased by anyone other than a citizen of this country.Sure, we have our agricultural land.  But, in case after case, I find large commercial properties owned by foreign nationals, foreign banking entities or a congomerate of such creatures.  I keep wondering ~ what is the point of being a United States citizen?  Where are my bonuses?  Everything is this country is being sold away or given away - most of the time with tax incentives and forgivable loan bases.  What the heck is going on?

It's very frustrating.  We are the ones who see this stuff....but the only ones who don't know about it are the ones footing the bill.  The citizens of this country.  Sometimes I just wish I had the money to run a full page ad in a national paper - Americans This is What Really is Happening in this Country - and filling them in on all the trash. Oh well....

I'm just another voice in the crowd..
Ellen
