If what you say is true, Sam, why "hate the game"?

What I'm saying is that the corporation, whether you agree with it or not, is acting in its own best interest.  Don't we abstractors look only at our own bottom line when we refuse to work for these outrageously low fees?  You see, we, too act in our own best interest.  Why should we expect an "evil corporation" to do less?

I don't deliver the best possible product to my clients because I'm a nice guy.  I'm in business to make money.  I can only do that if I find a way to serve my fellow man at a price that allows me to make a profit.  That, my friend, is what capitalism is all about.

This is a classic example of how the free market works.  Once that company discovers that it can't find independents to fill its orders at the price they are seeking, it will either 1) alter its business model so that it can meet that price, or 2) raise its offer to the independents.

Personally, I won't even set foot in a courthouse for less than $25.00...but, that's just me.

Regards,
Scott L. Perry, President
Jireh Business Information Solutions, Inc.

"The point is, ladies and gentleman, that greed -- for lack of a better word -- is good.  Greed is right.  Greed works.  Greed clarifies, cuts through, and captures the essence of the evolutionary spirit.  Greed, in all of its forms -- greed for life, for money, for love, knowledge -- has marked the upward surge of mankind.  And greed -- you mark my words -- will not only save Teldar Paper, but that other malfunctioning corporation called the USA."
