That is a good point.  Though I can see where this would take more time to use the "free" index, it does provide a strong advantage to those who are local and can go to the courthouse to do their searches.  You may find that this will increase your revenue.  If it costs $175 to do the search online, you could charge $100 for a current owner and still be competitive.
