I just read this post and wanted to send our condolences out to your son, your family and the young mans family as well. I have a 17 year old son too and I can only imagine what must be going through these young minds during times like these.

We as adults, often have trouble understanding why things like this happen, especially to young people. It is so much harder for the young to make sense of events like this. Being strong for your son and his friends will make a tough situation much better. I remember several of my friends dying young, and we as their friends were so devastated, unable to understand...why? Regretting things left unsaid, etc Having someone to talk to will help them, and help you as well. Just being there, will be a comfort to them, as well as for you. You are in our hearts and prayers.
