I realize that. There was no aff and the co wanted me to proceed anyway, I know better. My main question was if there was something I didn't know on the title end of things as to how this would happen on the deed in the first place. I did go back into county records and this was the first and only property this couple had and the mortgage was correct and the deed wasn't. Perhaps it was just an error in recording, but thank you so much for your responses.
